GenWealth Financial Advisors Chad Roller and Troy Johnson participated in 18 holes of scramble golf at the Hurricane Golf & Country Club, raising funds for the Saline Health Foundation to provide scholarships and assistance to those in need within their community.
The Saline Health Foundation hosted its 17th annual charity golf tournament in Bryant, Arkansas on September 10th and 11th. Money was raised by 60 teams of 240 golfers to support and assist the foundation as they continue to make the community a healthier place to live while providing scholarships to individuals in our community looking to further their education.
“GenWealth is about helping and connecting with others. Partnering with the Saline Health Foundations’ annual Swing Fore Saline event has allowed us to contribute to the growth of young people seeking to further their education,” says Shannon Wood, GenWealth Human Resources Specialist. “Through our participation, we not only help provide a scholarship or scholarships, but we ultimately help the entire Saline community through the lives of those young people. We understand the importance of community-building, and this was a great way to help ours ‘Get Ready For the Future.’”
Over the past 5 years, the Saline Health Foundation has been able to fund over $100,000 in scholarships to 75 students in central Arkansas.
“The only way we are able to do this is through the generosity of organizations like GenWealth Financial,” says Matt Brumley, Executive Director of the Saline Health Foundation. “It is encouraging to see a team of individuals so focused on the success of a community. I was struck by the motivation GenWealth exhibits in how they help their clients invest for their future success as well as their active investment in the lives of those in our community. By doing this they are truly getting us ready for the future…a very bright future.”
We’d like to extend our sincere thanks to the Saline Health Foundation and all this year’s sponsors and participants who helped make the event an exciting and successful fundraising event!
