Are We A Good Fit?

Forget everything you think you know about financial advisors.

First things first…

Get the image of the haughty, corner-office suit out of your head. We don’t roll that way. So, if that’s what you’re looking for, you may be able to find a better fit elsewhere.

Here’s the thing:

Money impacts nearly every other decision you make, and every decision you make has the potential to impact your money. So, for most, choosing a financial advisor is a highly personal decision. It’s more than just finding someone who can crunch some numbers. It’s really about finding someone who can understand your money in the context of how you need it to work in your life.

You may like us if:

  • You’ve worked hard for what you have
  • You want what’s best for you and your family – even if that means changing how you’ve done things before
  • You are seeking a collaborative relationship with an advisor
  • You find the greatest fulfillment and satisfaction from time well spent

You may not enjoy working with us if:

  • You’re seeking validation rather than seasoned expertise
  • You aren’t willing to have an open mind about managing and growing a portfolio
  • You don’t want to share the full picture of your financial life
  • You’re more concerned with the cost of fees than the cost of not investing in your future

You Might Be Our Specialty

  • We specialize in working with people who have at least $250,000 of investible assets and are seeking both a written financial plan and an ongoing relationship with an advisor to help:
    • Balance life and money
    • Prepare for retirement
    • Protect hard-earned assets
    • Plan for predictable retirement income
  • There are some exceptions, of course. But this is our so-called “bread and butter.”

But let’s get one thing straight.

Everyone deserves access to a financial plan. One of the biggest disservices our industry has done is to take financial planning—a powerful tool for cultivating individual wealth and security—and make it inaccessible to the people who need it most. We see financial service as a public service, and anyone who wants the support should be able to get it. That means we have no minimum requirements and no high bar to entry. If you want the support, we want to talk to you.

THROW EVERYTHING YOU THINK YOU KNOW ABOUT FINANCIAL PLANNING OUT THE WINDOW

We’ve got some pretty strong opinions about financial planning. So strong, in fact, we believe it deserves its own manifesto. Get 10 ways to shape your perspective of planning for free!
