GenWealth Financial Advisors Announces Holiday Food Drive

As 2021 comes to an end, the lingering impacts of the pandemic are still a very stark reality for many people. From unemployment to supply chain issues in the food industry, there are multiple factors affecting people in our communities and the organizations that help support them. No one should have to question whether they’ll be hungry for the holidays, so GenWealth will be having a company-wide food drive to help support food banks local to each of our office locations.

“Many of the people we work with come from humble beginnings. Some weren’t even that lucky. But that does not and should not dictate where you’re headed or what you’re capable of.” says John Shrewsbury, Co-Owner at GenWealth. “We are excited about this opportunity to allow our team, clients, and friends to serve our communities a little extra through the holidays.”

With 7 locations across the Mid-South, GenWealth will be accepting non-perishable canned food donations at each location for the following organizations:

  • Bryant, AR: CJOHN
  • Little Rock, AR: Little Rock Compassion Center
  • Conway, AR: Conway Ministry Center
  • El Dorado, AR: Salvation Army
  • Hot Springs, AR: Project HOPE Food Bank
  • Bossier City, LA: Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana
  • Brentwood, TN: Grace Works Ministries

“We’re very proud of the incredible company we’ve grown to be. However, all that means nothing if we don’t use what we’ve been blessed with to serve those around us. We encourage you to drop by any of our office locations and help us do just that,” says Co-Owner Janet Walker.
