Who Spark is for

Built for the building years.

You don't need a big portfolio to deserve real financial guidance. Spark is for people who are early in the game and want structure, coaching, and a roadmap, not a 60-page retirement plan.

  • You're between 18 and 49

Early or mid-career, with plenty of runway ahead of you.

  • Your household assets are under $100,000

That includes savings, investments, and workplace plans like a 401(k).

  • You want a plan, and someone to keep you on it

Budgeting, debt, emergency savings, and getting started investing, in the right order.

What's included

Everything you need to get moving.

Spark pairs a real plan with real accountability, so your goals don't just sit in a spreadsheet.

A personalized financial plan

A plan built for your stage, focused on cash flow, budgeting, and your top priorities. It's a step-by-step roadmap, not just a first move.

A goal strategy session

Sit down with your coach to talk through where you are, pick the goals that matter most, and map out what comes next.

Text & email coaching

Questions don't wait for scheduled meetings. Reach your coach by text or email for guidance and accountability as you work your plan.

Optional investment management

Once you have $5,000 to invest, we can actively manage your advisory account as part of your overall plan. It's there when you're ready, never required.

The Spark Roadmap

Ten steps. One clear path.

The process we'll follow together, meeting by meeting, at the pace that's right for you. It's a shared roadmap we'll revisit as your life changes, not a one-time checklist.

  1. Setting Expectations Together

A great plan only works with follow-through. We'll build it together and serve as your accountability partner. Our first conversation covers how GenWealth works and what to expect along the way.

  2. Building Your Budget

Knowing where your money goes creates room for your emergency fund, insurance, debt payoff, and retirement savings. Use our budgeting template, and we're happy to review it with you.

  3. Building Your Emergency Fund

Aim for 3–6 months of income (or expenses) in a liquid account. It's your cushion for the unexpected, like a repair or appliance failure, without relying on debt.

  4. Life Insurance

If you're married or have children, coverage should handle debts, final expenses, and replace your income for your family. We'll assess your needs and connect you with our insurance specialist.

  5. Estate Planning

Even early in life, an estate plan matters, especially to name guardians for minor children. We'll help gather what's needed and connect you with our estate planning team.

  6. Paying Down Debt: Two Approaches

Prioritize debt above about 15% interest before extra investing (beyond your 401(k) match). Avalanche pays the highest-rate debt first to save the most; Snowball pays the smallest balance first for momentum. We'll help you choose.

  7. Your Employer Retirement Plan

Contribute at least enough to capture your full employer match. It's money you don't want to leave on the table.

  8. The Roth IRA

After-tax contributions grow tax-free for withdrawal at 59½. Contributions (not growth) can come out penalty-free after 5 years, and a first-time home purchase may qualify for penalty-free use of a portion of your balance.

  9. Funding Your Other Goals

Home purchase, education (529 vs. brokerage), and travel all deserve a plan. We'll help you budget and choose the right accounts for each goal.

  10. Setting Goals for Next Time

We'll set specific, measurable goals together, like a payoff date or savings target, to keep our next conversation focused, and check in as needed.

This roadmap is a starting point. We'll revisit it as your life evolves, and we're always available between meetings.

Two milestones that matter

From first $5,000 to first $100,000.

Milestone one
$5,000

Your launch point for investing

Not there yet? That's okay. Spark coaching starts wherever you are, and building your first $5,000 becomes part of the plan. The goal isn't a one-time deposit. It's building a habit of investing that lasts.

Milestone two
$100,000

The race to six figures

Reaching $100,000 in household assets is one of the biggest early milestones in building wealth. Spark helps you move from where you are today toward that mark, step by step.

  • Your savings, investments, and 401(k) all count toward it
  • A clear next goal each time you hit one
  • A coach who keeps you accountable along the way

Questions

Good questions, straight answers.

Don't see yours? Your intro call is the perfect time to ask.

Do I need $5,000 to join Spark?

No. Coaching is open to you wherever you're starting from. The $5,000 minimum only applies if you want us to manage investments for you. If you're not there yet, getting to $5,000 becomes one of your first goals.

Does my 401(k) count toward the $100,000?

Yes. Spark looks at total household assets, which includes savings, investment accounts, and workplace retirement plans like a 401(k).

Do I have to invest with you?

Not at all. You can choose coaching only, investing only, or both. Coaching has no investment minimum.

Are the meetings in person?

Spark meetings are virtual, so you can meet with your coach from home, work, or anywhere in between. Between meetings, you can reach Adam by text or email.

What can Spark help me with?

Budgeting and cash flow, building an emergency fund, paying down debt, student loans, life insurance, estate planning basics, starting a 401(k) or Roth IRA, and saving for goals like a home or your kids' education.

What if I'm 50 or older, or have more than $100,000?

You'd likely be a better fit for Wealth Builder or Ready to Retire, which are designed for more established savers and people approaching retirement. Our team will point you in the right direction on your intro call.

Ready to spark something?

Start with a quick intro call. No pressure, just a conversation about where you are and where you want to go.
